We have spoken to some of them so that they are properly represented in our website. “ I am a mechanic by trade and my wife Irene is a secretary. We have been going to Our Lady’s House in Achill since it first opened. We enjoy participating in the prayers there. As Our Lady’s House has grown, we offered to help in any way we could and now we work in the little shop on a Saturday. The management and staff of Our Lady’s House are welcoming and pleasant. They appreciate the volunteers and we have always found it a happy and loving environment to work in. Anthony & Irene McGrathOur Lady's Fraternity I am a registered psychiatric nurse; I travel to Our Lady’s House most weeks with my teenage daughters. I assist in the area of First Aid. I am delighted to be part of this team and have always found it a wonderful environment. My assistance is always appreciated and I certainly have never, nor as anybody else I know who works in Our Lady’s house, been treated badly as implied in a tabloid paper.
